The sky is still dark to start the school day, 

I grab my bag and head that way. 

In class, we try to stay awake, 

While we wait and wait for cookie break. 

At lunch, we laugh and share our snacks, 

Then there’s practice; let’s run some laps. 

The day flies by, and we are free, 

Till morning comes, then repeat.
